Dear Audi Head Office, I have Audi A7 3. 0 model 2013 purchased from Qatar dealer. Qatar plate number 399817.
Car mileage only 25700km. I observed pup out signal in car dashboard indicating malfunction in car gearbox that no reverse function. I sent the car to Qatar dealer workshop. After three days I understood that they could not find any problem subsequently the advised that the whole gearbox needs to be replaced which will cost 22, 000USD.
My questions are: How it is possible that gearbox suffered from this serious problem after mileage of only 25, 700KM however it is used by only the owner who is the first one also. Who is responsible to repair the car? Is it original manufacturer or Qatar dealer? Is the defection due to manufacture problem? In All top class cars the gearbox and engine are under warranty for lifetime is this also including Audi?
